The New Jersey Titans made four selections Wednesday afternoon at the 2025 NA3HL Draft.
Traded to the Texas Brahmas as part of the package for Nikolai Meshkantsov, the Titans acquired the 6th overall pick from Tulsa to ensure a first round selection. Head Coach and General Manager Andrey Kapranov stayed in-state and used the selection on forward Chase Gittens. From Sewell, NJ and the 6’3″ captain of the Washington Twp High School team, Gittens has produced at least a point per game since his first Bantam season, beginning with the Hollydell Hurricanes before spending the last three seasons with the Igloo Jaguars.
In the second round, New Jersey visited the West Coast and took home Jackson Dougherty 50th overall. A native of Brentwood, California, Dougherty played last season with the San Jose Jr. Sharks at the 18U AAA level, where he recorded 31 points in 55 games across all competitions. He also starred at the high school level in his home Golden State, with 8 goals and 8 assists in 7 games for Oakland.
In the third round, the Titans went international with the selection of Junsang Park 88th overall . The South Korean, a 2005 birth year, is entering his third season of junior hockey after stops with the Austin Ice Bats and, most recently, the Iron County Yeti of the USPHL. Overall, he has recorded 39 points in 70 junior hockey games.
Finally in the fourth round, with their final pick New Jersey looked to fortify their blue line with the selection of Kellen Briscoe 126th overall. A converted forward, the native of Kansas City, MO, recorded 5 points in 17 games for Oakmoor Academy last season before making the jump to junior hockey.
“I feel very positive about how today went and I’m excited about the players we picked,” said Head Coach and General Manager Andrey Kapranov. “These are all players that we spent a lot of time scouting and speaking with, and the other coaches and I are looking forward to seeing them compete in training camp in August.”
Following camp, the New Jersey Titans 2025-26 season will begin in September.
