The NA3HL announced today its Bauer Stars of the Week for week ending October 24 and Titans goaltender Donovan Alfama and Defenseman Sam Senft were named honorable mention for the East Division’s Star of the Week.
Alfama appeared in three of the Titans four games last week posting a 1-2 record with a .925 save percentage and 3.85 goals against average. In the three games he played, he faced 134 shots.
This is the second week in a row that Douglas, MA native was named honorable mention. On the season Alfama has a 3 – 2 record with a 2.61 goals against average and .939 save percentage.
Senft had three points (2 goals and 1 assist) last week, all coming in the Titans 4 – 3 come-from-behind victory over the Long Beach Sharks. Senft’s first goal was scored with 0:02 remaining in regulation to tie the game, and then he scored the game winner in overtime with 1:38 left in the extra period.
This is the second time this season that the weekly/monthly league recognition. He was honorable mention for week ending September 26. The Aiterhofen, Bravaria native leads the Titans with 11 total points (5 goals and 6 assists).
