The NA3HL announced today its Bauer Stars of the Week for week ending March 7 and Titans forward Brandon Avezov and goaltender Grant Goodson were named honorable mention.
Avezov had three points (1 goal and 2 assists) during this past weekend’s games against the Springfield Jr. Hat Tricks and Northeast Generals respectively. He had a goal and an assist in the contest against Northeast.
Avezov leads the team with 40 total points (19 goals and 21 assists) and goals (19). This is the eighth time this season the Bellmore, NY native has received weekly/monthly league recognition. He the East Division’s Star of the Week for weeks ending November 22, November 1, October 25 and October 19. He was the second Star of the Week for week ending November 15. He was the league’s Forward of the Month for October, and he was honorable mention for the league’s Forward of the Month for October.
Goodson played in both games this past weekend. He stopped 80 of 85 shots posting a .941 save percentage and 2.47 goals against average.
The St. Louis, MO native has played in nine games this season posting a 5 – 3 record with a 3.10 goals against average and .914 save percentage. This is the second time this season that Goodson has received weekly/monthly league honors. He was the East Division’s Star of the Week for week ending February 21.
