The NA3HL announced today its Bauer Stars of the Week for week ending October 25 and Titans forward Brandon Avezov was named the East Division’s Star of the Week while fellow forward and line mate Phillippe Doucette was named honorable mention.
Avezov had four points (3 goals and 1 assist) in last week’s games against the Long Beach Sharks. He had the Titans only goal in their game last Wednesday and he had two goals and an assist in Friday’s 4 – 1 win. The Bellmore, NY native leads the team in total points (ten) and in goals (ten).
This is the second consecutive week that Avezov has been named the East Division’s Star of the Week.
Doucette had three points (1 goal and 2 assists) in last week’s games against the Sharks. He assisted Avezov on the Titans lone goal on Wednesday. However, he opened the scoring in Friday’s night game – his first as a junior hockey player. He also assisted on Avezov’s second goal of the game in Friday night’s victory.
The Unionville, PA native is second on the team in total points with seven (1 goal and 6 assists).
