The NA3HL announced today its Bauer Stars of the Week for week ending March 28 and Titans forward Philippe Doucette was named the East Division’s second Star of the Week while fellow forward Brandon Avezov was named honorable mention.
Doucette had eight points (5 goals and 3 assists) in five games last week. The West Chester, PA native was second on the team in total points with 40 (20 goals and 20 assists) in 35 games.
This is the second straight week and fifth time overall that Doucette has received weekly/monthly league recognition. He was second star of the week for week ending March 21 and honorable mention for weeks ending February 28, October 25 and November 15.
Avezov had nine points (3 goals and 6 assists) in five games last week. The Bellmore, NY native led the team with 64 total points (27 goals and 27 assists) in 35 games. He also led the team in goals (27).
This is the tenth time this season that Avezov has received weekly/monthly league recognition. He the East Division’s Star of the Week for weeks ending March 14, November 22, November 1, October 25 and October 19. He was the second Star of the Week for week ending November 15 and honorable mention March 7. He was the league’s Forward of the Month for October, and he was honorable mention for the league’s Forward of the Month for November.
