George HavilandGeorge Haviland – Director of Players

Haviland is the Patriarch of the New Jersey Titans organization, starting it in 1999. Over the years, he’s helped develop a number of high-level junior, NCAA and professional standouts and has currently placed over 1000 boys and girls players into NCAA Collegiate hockey. He also currently has nine National Hockey League players or draft picks to his credit.

He began his coaching career over 25 years ago with the American Eagles (now the Jersey Shore Wildcats). He also coached with the Chicago Freeze of the North American Hockey League (NAHL) and Trenton Titans of the East Coast Hockey League (ECHL) before his started the Titans.

Haviland is one of the most prominent youth coaches in the Atlantic District and boasts an impressive resume that includes twelve Atlantic District Amateur Hockey Association titles and nine trips to the USA Hockey National Championships, where he has led his teams to a medal six times.

Gary BiggsGary Biggs – General Manager

Originally from Bridgewater, NJ, Gary played his Midget and Junior Hockey for the Titans before heading to Youngstown State University where he graduated in 2012 with the school record for wins as a goaltender.
Upon graduation Gary worked with the Barrie Colts of the OHL in their scouting department, focusing on their American prospects. While with the Barrie Colts staff their franchise saw over 10 players get drafted into the National Hockey League. While working with the Barrie Colts, Gary served as the Head Coach for the Seton Hall University Men’s Ice Hockey Program.
Gary joined the New Jersey Titans NAHL staff in 2016 and has served as the Director of Scouting since 2018. Gary has helped identify over 50 NCAA D1 players for the North American Hockey League program while on staff and has helped the team qualify for playoffs in 6 of the last 6 seasons.

As a coach for the New Jersey Titans youth program, he has helped the 15u and Bantam Major programs reach the AYHL playoffs in 3 of the last 3 seasons. Gary will continue to coach the 15u and Bantam Major programs in addition to his North American Hockey League duties.

Andrey KapranovAndrey Kapranov – Head Coach

Andrey has spent the last three years serving as the NAHL programs skills coach. Andrey has worked with a multitude of Russian born stars—most notably Alex Ovechkin. In addition to Ovechkin, Kapranov has helped Dallas Stars player Alexander Radulov and Pittsburgh Penguins’ Alexander Galchenyuk. His coaching style develops and progress in their careers. His other coaching experience includes Coach of the Russian National Junior and Dynamo Moscow Youth teams.
