George Haviland – General Manager
Haviland is the Patriarch of the New Jersey Titans organization, starting it in 1999. Over the years, he’s helped develop a number of high-level junior, NCAA and professional standouts and has currently placed over 1000 boys and girls players into NCAA Collegiate hockey. He also currently has nine National Hockey League players or draft picks to his credit.
He began his coaching career over 25 years ago with the American Eagles (now the Jersey Shore Wildcats). He also coached with the Chicago Freeze of the North American Hockey League (NAHL) and Trenton Titans of the East Coast Hockey League (ECHL) before his started the Titans.
Haviland is one of the most prominent youth coaches in the Atlantic District and boasts an impressive resume that includes twelve Atlantic District Amateur Hockey Association titles and nine trips to the USA Hockey National Championships, where he has led his teams to a medal six times.
Lenny Caglianone – Head Coach
Caglianone had a very distinguished playing career. After playing at the famed Shattock St. Mary’s, he went onto play six years of junior hockey in various leagues including the North American Hockey League (NAHL), Eastern Hockey League (EHL) and Eastern Junior Hockey League (EJHL) among others. His last year of junior hockey was during the 2013-14 season where here had 17 points (4 goals and 13 assists) in 36 EHL games for the New Jersey Rockets. He also was the team’s captain.
Upon completing his junior career, the Matawan, NJ native went to earn a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice magna cum laude and minor in psychology from Westfield State University, where he played NCAA Division III ice hockey and had 47 total points (12 goals and 35 assists) in 84 games. He was the Owls captain during the 2018-19 season, his senior year.
After finishing his collegiate career, he went onto play professionally in the Southern Pro Hockey League (SPHL) and Federal Prospects Hockey League (FPHL).
Last season, Caglianone was an assistant coach for the Protec Jr. Ducks of the EHL.
Connor Tierney – Assistant Coach
Tierney is a 2015 graduate of Christian Brother Academy; a four-year member of the hockey team; a team captain which his team won two state championships.
He started his junior career with the Kingston Voyageurs in the OJHL, and he finished it by playing with the Philadelphia Flyer USPHL.
Tierney played collegiate hockey for SUNY Cortland having played in 63 games. His senior year was canceled due to COVID-19, and he graduated cum lade with a business economics degree.
