The Norwich Sea Captains defeated the visiting Titans 4 – 1 late last night to complete a weekend sweep of the two teams.
The Sea Captains’ Jack Kinahan gave the home team a 1 – 0 lead at 9:49 into the first period. Then with 9:17 left in the second period, Teagen Beier doubled Norwich’s lead.
Cam Hultin gave Nowich a 3 – 0 lead at 8:46 into the third period. Ryan Talorico scored with 9:16 remaining in the second period to put the Titans on the board. It was Talorico’s first goal of the season.
Norwich’s Chris Hamilton scored with 1:07 left in the game to make it 4 – 1 and close out the scoring.
Jake Agoglia stopped 25 of 29 shots while Norwich’s Andrew Yocum turned aside 16 of 17. Click here for the complete box score.
The Titans will finish out their three-game road trip tonight at 7:00 when they travel to Danbury to take on the Jr. Hat Tricks.
