Sharks blank Titans 3 – 0

Noah McCrary stopped all 29 shots he faced to lead the visiting Long Beach Sharks to a 3 – 0 win over the Titans last night to split the weekend series between the teams.

Zac Kretzschmer scored his fourth goal of the season at 5:38 into the opening period to give the Sharks the lead at 1 – 0 and the eventual game winner.

The Sharks doubled their lead with 7:22 remaining in the first period when Jeremy Henk scored his third goal of the season. Long Beach’s Gabe Hopkins hit the back of the net just 3:46 into the second period to close out the scoring and make it a 3 – 0 game.

The Titans next game will be on Wednesday when they face the Danbury Jr. Hat Tricks at 12:30PM at the Middletown Sports Complex.

The Sharks and Titans will play a pair of games next weekend in Long Beach.
