The North American 3 Hockey League announced its Bauer Hockey Divisional Stars of the Week for week ending January 8 and forward Ryan Talorico and defenseman Roy Shaver were named honorable mention for the East Division.
Talorico had two total points (1 goal and 1 assist) during this past weekend’s sweep over the Bay State Bobcats. He scored a highlight reel goal in Saturday’s 3 – 1 win, and he had an assist in Sunday’s 3-2 overtime victory.
The Washington Twp., NJ native leads the Red Buckets with 29 total points (17 goals and 12 assists) in 31 games played. He also leads the team in goals (17).
This is the third time this season that Talorico has earned weekly/monthly league recognition. He was second star of the week for week ending October 30 and honorable mention for week ending September 25.
Shaver had a point (assist) this past weekend but it was a big one in which he assisted on Payton Fobes game winning goal in overtime to give the Titans a 3 – 2 victory in Sunday’s game.
On the season, Shaver has five points (all assists) in 24 games played.
