With the NA3HL Titans inaugural season scheduled to start on October 2, the hockey operations staff has been working diligently over the summer to assemble a competitive team.
In reviewing the roster, General Manager George Haviland feels that they all share the same traits: good character and hard working.
“While different due to COVID-19, this has been a fulfilling summer” stated Haviland. “It is our first year having an NA3 team, and I feel that scouts Ben Fleischman and Nick Grinvalds have done an outstanding job finding talent. Ben and Nick have worked super hard in assembling this team. We are hoping that the NA3 team will have comparable results as the NAHL Titans first year” concluded Haviland (The NAHL Titans came in second place during their 2015-16 inaugural season).
“I’m excited about this team” stated Fleischman. “We feel that the players we’ve brought in are good, quality people who work hard. We want to put them in the best position to help the team succeed as well as hopefully advance them to the next level of their junior hockey career.”
“Recently we announced the signings of George Haigley, TJ Stone and Alex Tsymbalyuk whom we feel will help solidify our roster” stated Fleischman.
“George joins the Titans after spending his youth hockey with Team Maryland at the 18U level. He will bring the Titans an offense punch, a player who plays with unmatched energy and edge” said Fleischman.
“TJ rejoins the Titans and will provide us with a veteran presence and a player that brings experience within our own building. He will be an elite defenseman for us and play a large role on the back end immediately” said Fleischman.
“Alex is a rookie to the Junior Hockey Ranks who joins the Titans with a plethora of High School hockey achievements including second team all-state Connecticut High School Hockey. We look forward to him providing us with an elite option in goal” concluded Fleischman.
Training camp for the Titans begins September 8th.
