The visiting Titans defeated the Bay State Bobcats 3 – 1 last night in game one of this two-game series between the teams.
It was the Red Buckets first game of the 2023 calendar year.
The Bobcats opened the scoring at Brian Woak scored a powerplay goal at 2:51 of the first period.
The Titans then went onto score three consecutive goals, starting with Nick Trabb’s eight goal of the year with 6:22 of the opening period to tie the game at one.
William Fliss scored his first goal of the season at 2:24 into the second period to give the Titans the lead, and then Ryan Talorico scored his seventeenth goal of the season with 7:44 remaining the third period to close out the scoring and make it 3 – 1.
Jake Agoglia stopped 32 of 33 shots in the win while AJ Cooper turned aside 34 of 37 in defeat. Click here for the complete box score.
