Titans Earn 6-5 Victory Over Sharks in Season Finale

Apr 25, 2025

Five points from Adrian Marek provided the highlight as the New Jersey Titans closed out their 2024-25 NA3HL season with a 6-5 win over the Long Beach Sharks on March 5, 2025 at the Long Beach Municipal Arena.

Marek got the Titans on the board first with his 9th goal of the season, though New Jersey would head into the first intermission trailing after conceding a pair of goals in the final three minutes.

Zach Gershner, playing in his final NA3HL game, tied the game 2:15 into the second period with his 3rd goal of the season. Marek added his second of the game, followed by Tanner Connant’s first junior hockey goal to take a 4-2 lead with under 5 minutes to go in the middle frame. Another late Long Beach goal drew them within one heading into the last regulation period of the season.

In the third, Nikita Suvorov scored his 6th of the year to put the Titans up by two again. The Sharks potted a goal at 14:30 to cut the lead in half, but Marek’s hat tricks goal 25 seconds later would stand as the game winner as the Titans held on to finish off Long Beach.

Though the Titans will miss the 2025 postseason, they end their campaign on a positive note, finishing the season with a hard-fought win and a final record of 16-27-4. Next on the calendar for New Jersey will be the NA3HL Draft, held on April 30th.
