Nicholas Trabb scored 1:33 into overtime to give the Titans a 2 – 1 win over the visiting Norwich Sea Captains giving the Red Buckets a second straight weekend split between the teams.
It was Trabb’s second goal of the game.
After a scorless first period, Trabb opened the scoring with 6:16 remaining in the middle stanza. He was assisted by Antonio Vidal and PaytonPay Fobes.
Norwich tied the contest with just 1:10 remaining in regulation when Tim Hayden scored his third goal of the season to send it into overtime.
After Dante DeBlueris took a shot that saved by Norwich goaltender Brendan Pellerito, the high rebound came right out to Trabb on the doorstep, and he knocked into the open net for his third goal of the season.
Jake Agoglia stopped 33 of 34 shots in the win while Pellerito 31 of 33 turned aside in defeat. Click here for the complete box score.
