The New Jersey Titans face their stiffest test of the season this weekend as they meet the Northeast Generals for the first time this year. The Titans are currently in 1st place in the East Division with a record of 9-2-0, the best start in franchise history. However, the Generals have once again started their season with a divisional dominance that has become the norm for the team, going undefeated in their first eight games of the season. Over the past two seasons, the Generals have only lost 6 of 96 intradivisional games, and have represented the division at the Fraser Cup for the past three tournaments.
For New Jersey, they will look for their first triumph over Northeast since December 2nd, 2022. In a 5-2 Titans victory, George Hinds and Payton Fobes each recorded two points. This season, the two veterans have recorded 15 and 7 points respectively, both in 11 games.
Faceoff is scheduled for 7:30pm tonight, Friday, October 20th, and 7:45pm tomorrow, Saturday the 21st. The games will be available for streaming on NAHLtv.
