Win streak snapped as Titans fall to Sharks 3 – 1

The visiting Titans fell to the Long Beach Sharks today 3 – 1 at the Long Beach Municipal Ice Arena. The lost snapped the Red Buckets three game win streak.

After a scoreless first, the Sharks’ Zac Kretzschmer opened the scoring at 5:47 into the middle stanza for his sixth goal of the season.

Antonio Vidal tied the game at one when he hit the back of the net with 4:18 remaining in the second. It was a powerplay goal.

The Sharks regained the lead at 3:55 into the third period when Christopher Keller scored his third goal of the season.

Long Beach put the game out of reach when Kretzschmer scored his second goal of the game with 6:38 remaining in the contest to close out the score.

Jake Agoglia stopped 25 of 28 shots in defeat while Long Beach’s Colten McIntyre turned aside 26 of 27. Click here for the complete box score.

The Titans next game will be on Friday, December 2 when they travel to Attleboro, MA to take on the Northeast Generals for a two-game series.
